Michael Couzigou

As a culture professional for more than 20 years, I have managed historical monuments and museums such as the Château du Clos-Lucé in Amboise, the Château des Baux de Provence, the Museum of Art and History and the Ancient Theatre of Orange, the Nîmes Arena, the Maison Carrée and the Tour Magne for the company CULTURESPACES. Concerned about the promotion and animation of the Heritage, I created with historian friends in 2010 THE GREAT ROMAN GAMES in the Arena of Nîmes, the largest historical re-enactment in the world with more than 500 European volonteers and 30,000 spectators over 3 performances each year.

Passionate about new forms of artistic expression, in 2017 I take part in the launch of the ATELIER DES LUMIÈRES in Paris, the first digital art center in France, as director and curator of contemporary exhibitions. In 2018, I create and produce the immersive exhibition TERRA MAGNIFICA with the photographer Yann Arthus Bertrand and in 2019, IMMERSIVE ART FESTIVAL, the first festival dedicated to immersive digital creation with 11 European studios.

Between 2020 and 2022, I am creator and producer of immersive experiences for the Montreal multimedia studio MOMENT FACTORY.

As vice-president of the French association MOTION PLUS DESIGN, I participate in the organization of various events, notably around the valorization and recognition of motion design as an artistic movement of the 21st century, in Los Angeles, Paris and Tokyo.

I am now the founder of the consulting and organization agency NEW ART EXPERIENCES. In 20222, i am developping IMMERSIVE ART BOX, the first touring digital art center in the world.
